4. Local Storage / Caching

To improve performance and reduce repeated network requests, the extension stores a cached copy of the public JSON mapping file in Chrome local storage for up to 24 hours.

This cache contains only public profile-mapping data and does not contain private user information.

5. How We Use Information

The extension uses the public data described above solely to:

• Identify public X/Twitter handles visible on the page
• Match those handles to public 6529 profile data
• Display a clickable REP badge beside matching handles

The extension does not use data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the extension’s single purpose.

The only remote request made by the extension is to retrieve the public JSON mapping file hosted at rep6529.sgtpepe.world.

• rep6529.sgtpepe.world — where the public JSON mapping file is hosted
• 6529.io — when a user clicks a REP badge to open a public 6529 profile
